I have been too damn busy fucking up at life to update.

I fly like paper...

Here's a sneak peak of what i occasionally do in real life: 

This is a outfit i made entirely out of tissue paper for a display in The Saint Paul River Centre. The original inspiration behind this look was the human skeleton and the piece was meant to be far more elaborate, however i quickly discovered the limitations of tissue paper. Overall tho I'm very pleased by how it turned out.

Summer is slowly approaching, and i fear i might not have any outfits posts. Mainly, because my summer sense of fashion is non-existent. If i wasn't so deathly afraid of the being cold, i would want it to be winter all the time so i can wear awesome winter clothes.

My life can currently can be summed up in three words: work, babysitting, and eventually school. And i have a new hair color. Well how that came about is a rather intresting story. So i was trying to go the natural route, and decided to have my friend cut off my relaxed ends; however i had nooo idea how to deal with my natural hair texture, additionally a lot of my hair was cut off, so i was left with a short afro. So i called my friend up really quickly & she hooked me up with some extensions. On another note my whole objective was to embrace my natural texture, which in retrospect would have me embrace my natural African features. Because for awhile now the world's schema regarding beauty has always included straight hair & generally cacausiod features; whilst African features or features outside that realm have been dismissed. Hence im somewhat disappointed that i put straight extensions in, rather than just embracing my natural hair. It might sound like im being strangely analytical about such a blase situation, but im not. I forgot to add, i miss my dark hair.

 Just remembering this day almost brings tears to my eyes, it was when Minnesota was hot as hell & i could walk around in short dresses. Furthermore as you can see I've kinda jumped ship from posting about Cali, mostly because i have thousands of pics from Cali. But on this day me & Phi went walking around uptown, grabbed some bubble-tea, shopped around in hipster paradise UrbanOuttfiters, and had lunch at Amazing Thailand. And the name speaks for itself the food is fucking AMAAZING. We discovered this spot a while ago whilst we just aimlessly wandering around uptown.

But as far as what's going on right now, I got new job at this place which sells designer brands for 70% off retail price, so i work around really high end brands & its pretty much my version of heaven. Surprisingly though i haven't really been doing much shopping, ive just mostly been focusing on FOOD! But i did splurge on this wonderful Rebecca Taylor dress, that i got at my work. I got it for pretty cheap so the miser in me was verrry verry happy. And during this time I recently turned single, so im on the lookout for hot & sexy dress 'come hither' kinda of dress, & i want it to be white.

The best part of my job though would have to be people watching, we get in the strangest people, whom make me appear normal. But this job has really given me an insight into people's psyche's, i suppose you could say. But ok...Im saying alot of weird mundane shit so bye ^_^

Summer is coming to an end, and damn if it hasnt been a good summer. Albeit a summer filled with change, and one of multiple realizations good and bad, it has probably been one of my best summers ever. Live Life, and Love were the words with which I planned to form my summer around. And at times I lived a little too fast, got drunk off the high of love, but isnt that the beauty of simply living?

I just realized today while watching a commercial for the ‘Best 50 Rock Hits’, well the actual title of the product being advertized kind of escapes me but it’s something close to the latter stated above, I’ve totally abandoned my love for listening to rock & roll. Ah well. Moving on, I took these before my family and I went to the garment district, however the temperature kept on rising so I changed into the outfit from the previous post...But jumping to the present, I’m currently watching Family Guy and I’m realizing Squidbillies is a much better show. Seriously, the things I notice when I’m bored. And I still have not looked up Kurt Vonnegut even though I was at the library yesterday… Speaking of which I took my boyfriend along to the library to re-inspire his desire to start writing again by having him read books. Now in my world the library is somewhere I can immerse myself in the reality presented in a book and ignore the bustling reality going on around me. He on the other hand seemed a bit restless and unable to find his center and immerse himself in the books he & I had chosen. So Ive come up with a new plan. I’m gonna drop him off at the library, leave him there, and only come pick him after he’s been there for a few hours. That shall be added to my to-do list…which continues to grow at an exponential rate 
